ReStore Volunteering
The ReStore is our main fundraising arm. Each dollar of profit raised through the ReStore is allocated to fund Habitat homes in our neighborhoods.
ReStore receives donated, new and gently used merchandise (household hardware, doors, windows, etc) and sells them at a fraction of the original price.
The ReStore is operated by a small staff and is supported by volunteers. This helps us keep costs down.
We need YOU to come and spend some time with us.

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old or accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Construction Site Volunteering
Topeka Habitat for Humanity works to provide homes for families in need. Part of the magic of Habitat is that we get to work side by side with our homeowners as they work their volunteer hours.
Homeowners work at both the ReStore and at construction sites. Working the construction site is a wonderful way to get acquainted with the program as well as the product we provide for our families.
Our construction team is friendly, knowledgeable and can teach the most novice builder to assist at a site.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Typical build site cannot occupy more than 10 volunteers at a time unless prior arrangments are made.
If you are interested in an ongoing volunteer relationship with Topeka Habitat or want more information you can attend our weekly volunteer orientation on Wednesdays at 4pm or by appointment. Call 785-234-4322 to reserve your spot.
